Welcome to The Lindvall Lab

Our research focuses on a number of state-of-the-art technologies across multiple specializations to extract actionable information from clinician-patient interactions – critical data which can then be disseminated to the patient and clinical care team. Our ultimate goal is to develop and implement scalable quality improvement programs that utilize methods such as natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning. Developing and testing novel NLP-based approaches to capture palliative care quality measures is a strategic step toward these goals, with ample opportunity for extension and tremendous potential to improve clinical care.
